Society Offers Health and Life Insurance Plans for Artists
The Society of American Silversmiths (SAS) is pleased to announce its new offering of insurance products for its members. The Society has entered into an arrangement with MemberNetUSA to offer individual and group insurance plans through their interactive Web site.
Members of SAS are eligible to enroll in a range of benefits, which include Health, Life, Dental, Long-Term and Short-Term Disability, Accident/AD&D, and Cancer coverage. In the near future SAS will also be adding auto, home, and other lines of insurance to its offerings.
The insurance products can be viewed by clicking on the "SAS Member Insurance Programs" link on the SAS Web site at silversmithing.com. Anyone can request quotations, submit application forms, view additional information on each of the products, and access a comprehensive resource center. Only SAS members will be able to actually purchase the insurance products offered. In addition, MemberNetUSA has a toll-free customer service line and e-mail support available to answer all of your questions.

The Society of American Silversmiths (SAS) was founded in 1989 as the world's only professional organization solely devoted to the preser-vation and promotion of contemporary silversmithing. Its Artisan members, those silversmiths both practicing and retired, who now or used to smith as a livelihood, are provided with support, networking, discounts, and greater access to the market.
