Joseph Richardson, Sr. Cream Pot

This 18th century American cream pot had a couple of rim splits. The left image you can see solder discoloration from a previous repair. On the right I welded the split with sterling for a perfect color match. I then blended the weld and the immediate area with 0000 steel wool then fine bronze wool.
