Fused Plate Telescoping Candlesticks

These circa 1800 sticks came to me for conservation. Wax, dried polish, and underlying lacquer were removed prior to hand polishing. I then disassembled the sticks to clean and wax the screw mechanisms so they would telescope up and down much more smoothly. After reassembly they were tarnish-protected.
