This is the
original workbench I started out with in high school when I decided
to become a silversmith. Notice the 4" duct in the bench top to
collect particulate generated from polishing and grinding. To the
bottom left of the bench hang my pliers and cutters; above and to the
left are my gravers (with wooden handles), followed by chasing
punches to their right. Burnishers stand against the wall with
drill bits beneath; flexshaft rotary tools and needle files in a
stepped stand to the right of the drill bits; hand files come next;
then the hanging flexshaft with tweezers in the lower right corner;
my pulse arc welder and microscope sit on the bench to the right
(next image). |
